purest form of selling, person-to-person selling that
benefits everyone involved.

XanGo Juice FAQ
What is XanGo Juice?
Using the whole fruit of the
Garcinia mangostana in a patented formulation, XanGo
Juice is the original mangosteen drink.
What are xanthones?
While most people know about the
antioxidant benefits of vitamins C and E, far fewer are
aware of the incredibly potent antioxidant power of
xanthones. Xanthones are natural chemical substances
that have won high praise from numerous scientists and
researchers. Xanthones have been studied for their
medicinal potential, since they demonstrate a number of
pharmaceutical properties.
Why the name “XanGo”?
XanGo derives its name from two
words: XAN from xanthones and GO from
mangosteen.
Why hasn’t a mangosteen beverage been brought to market before XanGo Juice?
Many researchers around the world
have wondered this same thing. The mangosteen and its
xanthone-rich pericarp, or rind, have been used in
traditional medicine for thousands of years, and
xanthones have been the subject of extensive positive
scientific research. But until Joe Morton and the other
founders of XanGo took the steps necessary to bring this
fruit and its benefits to the world, no one else saw the
vision. XanGo is the original, a true category
creator.
Where does the mangosteen fruit come from?
Although this exotic fruit can be
grown in any location offering a tropical climate, it is
native to Southeast Asia.
Is the harvesting of the mangosteen fruit environmentally friendly?
Protecting the environment is
important to XanGo. If only for this reason, XanGo would
always use care in harvesting. But there is a practical
reason, as well. It takes many years for the mangosteen
tree to mature and produce fruit. Because of this, it is
critical that the care of the tree and all harvesting
techniques meet the highest of standards.
What are the ingredients in XanGo Juice?
While the mangosteen pericarp is
rich in xanthones, it tastes very bitter. This bitter
flavor can fight with the naturally delicious pulp
inside the fruit. Because of this, additional natural
fruit juices are blended, according to a proprietary
formula, to create XanGo Juice’s unique
taste.
Is the amount of xanthones per bottle standardized?
XanGo Juice is a natural blend of the whole mangosteen fruit with no extracts. Because XanGo delivers whole fruit benefits, there are some slight variations from batch to batch due to the natural variations in the fruit.
Why does it seem that some bottles have more pericarp than others?
The pericarp, or rind, of the
mangosteen is rich in natural xanthones. Even when
pureed, the pericarp elements remain a solid suspended
in liquid. Every bottle contains the same XanGo formula,
but because settling occurs, some bottles will seem to
contain more solids. Simply shake vigorously before
serving.
What is the recommended intake of XanGo Juice?
1–3 ounces daily. However, many
people choose to vary from this amount, tailoring
consumption to their personal preferences.
Should I continue taking vitamins and minerals if I drink XanGo Juice regularly?
Absolutely. XanGo contains natural
xanthones from the whole fruit of the mangosteen that
are not present in vitamins and minerals, and,
similarly, vitamins and minerals have benefits that may
not be present in XanGo in the amounts
wanted.
Is it safe to take XanGo Juice with medications?
There are no known contraindications with XanGo Juice and medications. However, if you are consuming any medications or have a known medical condition it is best to consult with your health care provider or pharmacist before consuming XanGo Juice.
Is XanGo Juice safe for everyone?
Yes. XanGo is made from the
whole-fruit purée of the mangosteen fruit. It is similar
to eating any common fruit. The only real difference
between mangosteen and other fruits is the high
concentration of beneficial xanthones found in the
Garcinia mangostana. The amount of XanGo Juice consumed
may vary for the body size of a person, and you should
always check with a trusted physician before beginning
any new dietary program.
How safe is the production of XanGo Juice?
We have a strategic production
partnership with WILD Flavors, Inc., the ISO
9001-certified food-and-beverage-industry giant. Before
you consume XanGo Juice it goes through more than 220
quality tests to ensure it meets the highest standards
of cleanliness and quality in the world.
Is XanGo Juice pasteurized or heat processed?
Yes. Government regulations require
either pasteurization for the safety of consumers or a
warning label of possible microbial contamination in
products that are not pasteurized. Extensive research
reveals that these processes do not affect the xanthone
content or efficacy in XanGo Juice.
Are there any preservatives in XanGo Juice?
Sodium benzoate is added to ensure
the safety of XanGo. Sodium benzoate carries the GRAS
(Generally Recognized As Safe) designation by the FDA.
It is used as an antimicrobial agent in very small
amounts, and is added as part of the world-recognized
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in food and beverage
processing.
What is the shelf life of XanGo Juice?
While XanGo boasts a shelf life of
two years in an unopened bottle, it is always preferable
to check the “Best by” date on the bottom of each
bottle.
What kinds of sugars are used in XanGo Juice?
There are no added sugars in XanGo
Juice, only naturally occurring fructose.
Does XanGo Juice contain potassium?
The fruits used in formulating
XanGo Juice contain potassium as a natural component.

XanGo Opportunity FAQ
What constitutes a XanGo distributor?
A XanGo independent distributor can order XanGo Juice by 1) calling the Order Entry department, 2) mailing or faxing in an order form, or 3) purchasing through the “back office” on the internet. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, check, money order and cash. Please do not mail cash. XanGo will not accept a faxed copy of a check or money order.
How can I become a XanGo distributor?
There are three ways that you can
apply for a distributorship: 1) You can mail or fax in
an application, 2) you can sign up over the internet, or
3) you can be entered over the phone. The last two
options will require the new distributor to send in a
physical application and W-9 form within 30 days; both
forms are included in the Distributor Kit. XanGo
encourages applicants to enlist the help of their
sponsors when signing up.
Can I purchase XanGo Juice without being a distributor?
XanGo Juice may be purchased without owning a distributorship, but only through a distributor. You may purchase directly from a distributor, or a distributor can guide you to purchase product through the XanGo retail program.
What skills do I need to succeed as a XanGo distributor?
The most successful distributors
have a desire to achieve, and a positive attitude about
the goals they must accomplish to get there. There is no
need for a degree or special licensing to build your
XanGo business.
Is it expensive to own an independent XanGo distributorship?
No. The only cost to own your own
XanGo business is the nominal membership fee. This
inexpensive fee makes it possible for virtually anyone
to become a XanGo distributor.
What is XanGo’s policy with respect to collecting and remitting sales tax?
Like other similar companies, XanGo
collects and remits sales tax based on retail
pricing.
This is a benefit for our independent distributors since
it eliminates the time and worry required of them to
collect and remit sales tax on their XanGo business.
They are therefore freed to focus on nurturing their
distributor organization rather than complying with
local sales tax requirements.
However, if a distributor desires, they can manage this
process by: 1) registering with their local sales tax
agency, and 2) submitting a sales tax exemption
certificate to XanGo’s Customer Service group. If the
distributor follows this process, no tax is collected on
their orders. For those distributors, we strongly
recommend that they consult their tax advisor for
guidance on complying with state sales tax
issues.
XanGo recently has started collecting sales tax on internet orders... Why?
Because XanGo is registered with
local tax agencies to collect and remit sales tax, we
have an obligation to collect sales tax on all orders,
regardless of their origin. For distributors who are
ordering their product online, our new policy avoids
putting them in the difficult position of managing the
tax consequences of the eventual consumption or
distribution of that product.
What do I get when I sign up and pay the membership fee?
When you become a distributor, you
begin a partnership with XanGo. Your success is our
success, so this partnership is something in which XanGo
invests heavily. Along with access to XanGo's corporate meetings and sponsor support, you will receive a Distributor Kit
containing several sales tools and support materials to
help you get started. We also have a well-trained and
efficient call center with customer and order-entry
support at your service. We even have an internet site
with a “back office” for your convenience in tracking
your business’s growth and progress.
How much money can I make as a XanGo distributor?
The beauty of XanGo’s form of
network marketing is that you determine, based on your
efforts and the volume of your organization, precisely
how much money you will make.
What kind of investment is expected?
Aside from the initial and annual
membership fee, there is no required investment.
However, experience has shown that most successful
distributors purchase one to two cases of XanGo Juice
each month.
What is the Automatic Delivery Program?
XanGo’s Automatic Delivery Program
(ADP) is a convenient way to ensure that one or two
cases of XanGo Juice are delivered to your door each and
every month.
How can I make changes to my ADP?
Simply notify us with a signed ADP
change request by fax at 801.816.8159 or mail at P.O.
Box 900, Lehi, UT 84043-0900. The signed request must be
received by the 10th of the month in order to be
processed for that month.
How does the compensation plan work?
If taken to its full advantage, the
XanGo compensation plan rewards distributors weekly,
monthly, and quarterly. See the compensation plan for
more details.
How many people can I sponsor?
There is no limit on how many new
XanGo distributors you can sponsor. Typically,
accomplished distributors personally sponsor three or
more people.

Distributor Renewal FAQ
How do I renew my distributorship?
You renew by paying the Annual Materials &
Renewal Fee. You can go online and pay through your XanGo Back Office (item

send in a check or money order.
Will the company bill me automatically?
No. It is the Distributor’s responsibility to
renew their distributorship each year.
If I don’t renew my distributorship, what will happen?
After the appropriate grace period the
distributorship may be converted to a Retail Customer
account.
Do I have to wait 6 months to re-sign up after I’m moved to a retail customer?
No. Upon being converted to a retail customer,
the observed grace period will suffice the 6 month waiting period
for distributors.
Why is my renewal fee charged tax?
The renewal fee is formally titled an Annual
Materials & Renewal Fee, which represents all of the materials a
distributor will be provided by the company throughout the year. In
your state, if this type of material is taxable, we are required to
charge tax.
Will the company notify me when my renewal fee is up?
The Distributor may be notified by the company
through emails, post cards or by phone when and how to
renew.
Is there a grace period from when my fee is due to when I get moved to a retail customer?
Yes. There is a 60 day grace period after the
renewal fee is due.
How will the company contact me if I change my email address and I forget to contact the company?
If the company does not have accurate contact
information, the company will not be responsible for an inability to
reach the distributor due to incorrect personal
information.
What is the difference between a distributor account and a retail account?
Distributors purchase product from us at a
“wholesale” price and are also able to purchase sales aids.
Distributors can sponsor new distributors, build a downline, and
earn commissions. Customers purchase product from us at a “retail”
price and may not be able to purchase all of our sales aids.
Customers cannot sponsor new distributors and do not earn
commissions.
If the account is changed to a Retail Customer account, can I sign up again with a different sponsor/placement?
Yes. All retail accounts are entitled to the
same flexibility in selecting a sponsorship and placement when
signing up as a new distributor.
What happens if I don’t want to pay today?
You still have the 60-day grace period before
your account is converted to a Retail Customer
account.
After my account has changed to a retail customer, can I just pay my renewal fee and get my distributorship back?
No. Once the account has been changed to a
retail customer account, the previous distributorship will be
terminated. Retail customers cannot sign up distributors, receive
commissions and order wholesale product.
